About Me

Susan Webb, MD

Susan Webb, head-and-shoulders portrait with her chin resting on her hand, against a soft warm terracotta background

Educated at Rice University and trained at Baylor College of Medicine and Emory University, I am a physician whose clinical work over two decades spans medicine, psychiatry for children and adults, psychoanalysis, longevity medicine, and somatic and arts-based healing. Across all disciplines, my practice draws on established healing traditions and emerging modalities.

My training in longevity medicine includes peptide therapies, weight management, and hormone health. Following certification in psychedelic medicine at Usona Institute, I served as a lead facilitator on psilocybin clinical trials for depression and contributed to study design for its use in the cancer setting. I also developed and field-tested a novel psychedelic integration method grounded in embodied practices, Jungian psychology, and Social Dreaming, which I presented to the Centre for Psychedelic Research, Imperial College of London. My Social Dreaming workshops and retreats are designed to nurture creativity, deepen connection, and invite joy and awe.

A scientist and a storyteller in equal measure, I listen closely for what resonates with you—whether you seek to restore balance, renew your energy, or rewild your imagination.

Questions

Where should I start?

A first conversation is a space to share your goals and explore which pathway may be a good fit. You do not need to know exactly what you need before reaching out.

What is psychedelic integration?

Integration is support for understanding and processing a previous psychedelic experience, and bringing its insights into daily life. It does not include administering or providing illegal compounds.

Can the pathways work together?

Yes. Mental and physical wellbeing are connected. Depending on your needs, your care plan may draw on more than one pathway, guided by an individualized clinical assessment.

Where do you work?

Medical care — longevity medicine and integrative psychiatry — is offered to residents of New York, North Carolina, and Israel, online and in-person. Psychedelic services are available in every US state and globally, in-person and online. Workshops and retreats are offered in-person, with locations varying, and online.

How does payment work?

The practice is self-pay and fee-for-service. The practice provides a statement suitable for submitting to your insurer for reimbursement.

What happens in a first consultation?

The conversation begins with your story, health history, and hopes for care. Together, you can explore possible next steps, ask questions, and decide whether the approach feels right for you.
